Paphos, the sublime & blinds

Most of the days from last week were spent in Paphos, where freelance work came up for a company called Euroblinds. It includes taking photographs of their products as they are set up in several luxury houses all along Cyprus. The final outcome being an elegant catalogue showcasing their best projects. I've hardly ever seen such expensive paraphernalia in my life (automatic curtains? 3D television at the swimming pool?), let alone being inside the walls they adorn. One such house was built halfway inside a cliff, staring at the beautiful sea of Paphos. The cleaner told me it's used once a year for a month. My, I thought, how the crisis lies heavy on us all. In any case, it is a nice feeling getting off the screen for a while and doing some work that includes travelling. In between appointments, I take leisure in reading a book, have coffee and eat sandwiches made from home, and take photos of landscapes therefore fulfilling the requirements that make the whole experience bohemi...
